In a very busy month for GlobeUs, we did have to giggle at a news article on The Portsmouth News today, revealing the most bizarre requests made to staff at Travelodge hotels in Portsmouth.
Included on the list are:
– “Can you kittysit my Persian cat whilst I pop to the shops to get his treats?”
– “Can I borrow your suit as I have left mine on the train and I have an important dinner meeting tonight?”
– “Can you please call my boss and tell him I am sick and cannot attend the strategy day?”
And my personal favourite:
– “Can you arrange for a marshmallow bed to be installed into my room?”
