New requirements for tutors, assessors and IQA’s.
The changes, which come into effect from 1 October 2015, will see a number of updates implemented designed to improve the rigour of first-aid qualifications and safeguard learners.
Details of the changes include requirements that:
- Tutors hold regulated teaching or training qualifications
- Assessors have a formal (regulated) assessing qualification
- IQAs will need to achieve a formal (regulated) IQA qualification
